90 days of Undead Love

It’s been a busy few weeks for me.  I moved from sunny California to East Tennessee, road tripping the entire way via backroads with my dog.  Undead Love: Not Alone is so close to being ready I can almost taste it.  But today also marks another special occasion:

Today is 3 months since I released Undead Love into the wild.  As far as sales go, everything has been steady.  I average about a book a day, sometimes none, sometimes 2 or 3.  It’s not paying the rent yet, but in about two weeks, if sales continue, I will have made back everything I spent on editing and cover design.  The little blip in the middle was my first Kindle Countdown Deal.  If you look at the Kindle Page Reads, it is a slightly different story.  My page reads have gone up every month, and this past month I have had 7 of my 10 best page reads days.  People are finding the book somehow.  I did one promo spot around the time I did the kindle countdown deal and had a review on a romance blog, but aside from that, this is all 100% organic.

Now, for what happens next.  I put book two up for preorder, but I am about 90% sure I am going to miss the deadline.  I will be able to reschedule it, but I won’t be allowed to use preorders for a year.  You live and you learn I guess.  When it is ready, I am going to use my next kindle countdown deal on book 1, and start funneling money  into it, hopefully piggybacking sales to book 2.

  1. Keep the blog posts coming. I look forward to them (since I’m going to publish my first Novel in early December, this gives me some realistic expectations.) I can’t wait to see how book 2 turns out.
